Hunger Free New Jersey and the School Nutrition Association were honored in the New Jersey Assembly for Hunger Action Month. • As one of the 37 states participating in the new, permanent, nationwide Summer EBT program, New Jersey has led the way, issuing over 585,875 cards to eligible students across 722 participating school food authorities, having a positive impact in the lives of so many NJ families and bringing over $70 million in federal funds into our state!
